Yes. A 'Call via Exotel' button on the Wendesk contact record initiates a call using Exotel's click-to-call API. The agent's phone rings first, then Exotel connects the customer — number masking is supported.
Does Exotel support WhatsApp Business as an Official WhatsApp BSP?
Yes. Exotel is an Official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider. The Wendesk integration can use Exotel's WhatsApp channel for messaging alongside voice calls, enabling true omnichannel engagement from a single CRM.
Can I use Exotel IVR with Wendesk to route support calls?
Yes. Exotel's IVR configuration is managed in the Exotel dashboard. Wendesk receives the call completion event and logs it against the customer record, including which IVR path was taken if Exotel passes that metadata.
