Both transactional emails (order confirmations, OTP, invoices, notifications) and marketing campaigns (bulk newsletters, promotional emails) can be sent via SendGrid from Wendesk.
How does Wendesk authenticate with SendGrid?
Authentication uses a SendGrid API key. You also configure a verified sender domain in your SendGrid account for proper email authentication (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
What delivery events does SendGrid report back to Wendesk?
SendGrid webhooks deliver events for email delivered, open, click, bounce, spam report, and unsubscribe. Wendesk logs these against the Contact's engagement history in CRM.
Can I use SendGrid dynamic templates with Wendesk?
Yes. Wendesk can reference SendGrid template IDs and pass dynamic data (customer name, order details, invoice amount) as substitution variables when sending.
